Called – Discover the FACTS about Dementia – these free public events aim to remove the mystery and stigma of dementia by explaining what dementia is and more importantly what it is not. Using simple non complicated terms these talks focus on learning the facts about dementia and include but no limited to:-Dementia - what it is and is not; What is the different between delirium, dementia and Alzheimer’s; What are the early signs; How to reduce the risk of developing dementia; Caring for someone with dementia; and what communities can do support those living with dementia and their families.
